Moonpig is incredibly well known, but often only for special occasions. Our work with them since 2019 has focused on shifting this brand perception, and making them the first destination, for any occasion. Our launch campaign brought back their iconic namesake, creating unprecedented demand in the process.
CHALLENGE
We started working with Moonpig just before the pandemic hit. As a result, what was meant to start with a new brand platform, actually started with a bigger challenge – how to adapt to a surge in customers and deliver highly effective DRTV to drive traffic where and when it was needed.
STRATEGY
Once we had successfully helped them tackle their immediate business needs, we were able to work with moonpig to launch a new brand platform ahead of launching the IPO. And, Like many great ideas, the answer was right in front of us.
Introducing the moon piglets. A cute, salient as hell, brand mascot that is instantly memorable. They tell funny, charming, sentimental, human stories across multiple occasions and live across every brand touchpoint to cement Moonpig’s new brand purpose of ‘Creating moments that matter between people every day’.
