Rebecca Ferguson in ‘The Unfair Advantage’ x Copper

Following a client recommendation in late July 2021, Copper sought out Talent Republic’s expertise in order to launch their inaugural ad campaign. As pioneers in their field they wanted to partner with an outstanding, rising Talent.

We knew Rebecca Ferguson was the perfect match. By the end of August the shoot was wrapped and ready to drop alongside the cinematic release of Dune.

Talent Republic cast, secured and managed all Talent related aspects from concept to completion.

Copper wanted to expand their reach through a targeted placement on Bloomberg TV. The campaign would utilise stunning, otherworldly visuals symbolising the endless possibility in their digital offering. The ambassador would inspire the audience with absolute confidence. Copper needed a perceptive, insightful lead with undeniable presence and world recognition.

In order to create an environment where anything is possible, to unlock hidden possibilities, we would need a hero capable of embodying multiple realities all at once. We would need it to be an enigmatic, rising star with the potential to carry us with them into the future.

Rebecca Ferguson, a powerful actress, mother and advocate for gender equality and the meaningful representation of women in film, was the obvious choice. She would lead our audience on a journey into the unknown with absolute certainty and clarity. Her turn in the upcoming sci-fi epic Dune was set to release at the same time as this inaugural campaign; two strange worlds colliding beautifully.

Negotiations included: contractual agreements, advising and helping manage costs across every aspect from Equity, travel, accommodation, security, to publicist and glam.
