Sonova wanted to build on its position itself as the retail centre for hearing excellence and the ultimate provider of the newest and most innovative technology in hearing instruments. This was done by highlighting the expert care they provide along with selling the newest and most technologically advanced product on the market – the Phonak AudéoÔ Lumity which has new SmartSpeechÔ technology, improving speech understanding in noisy enviroments. We created a campaign showing how Sonova AC is a retailer that helps you feel and experience sounds. Leading to our creative idea ‘Hear more than just words. Feel them.

The campaign was mixed media including 30-second film, cut downs, OOH, press, digital assets, and retailer materials for in-store communications.

CHALLENGE

Create an emotive campaign that places Sonova AC at the centre whilst highlighting the latest hearing device product.  Assets had to be sold into individual markets and work across the globe. The visual challenge was to show expertise and the benefits of the technology without being able to experience it yourself.

STRATEGY

Our campaign ‘hear more than just words’ had to be centred in emotion but also be functional. Our objective was to drive customers to AC stores so they can experience the expertise and the latest products themselves. The Phonak AudéoÔ  Lumity allows users to better understand what someone is saying using SmartSpeechÔ technology improving speech understanding, meaning you can hear what people are saying better, even in noisy environments.

Conversations are connections, and not being able to fully understand means you miss out and feel disconnected. Words have power, they are not just sounds, each one means something. When you hear words, you experience emotion and being able to truly understand means you hear more than just words, you feel them.

This creative idea was delivered through multiple media including a 30-second film, 6-second cut down for social, OOH, Press, Web Banners and internal retail comms.
