Summary
Having been the go-to UK service company for various Egyptian production companies and their projects with Vodafone Egypt, this production with Madam was the brand’s first ever decoupled production with an international production partner. The three-day film and stills shoot took place in multiple internal and external locations throughout London plus studio days where the production recreated the moon landscape, a newsreader studio and several action shots where A List brand ambassador, Mo Salah, takes centre stage. The production was safely produced in the pandemic with a crew and cast of 100.
Challenge
Shooting in a large warehouse space that is not a traditional studio set up comes with the challenges of inexperienced inhouse support staff. Compensating for this and dressing large spaces can be more expensive than working in a studio.
